This article compiles information on different aspects of the biology of the western diamondback rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox), a North American pit viper that can be found in the US and Mexico. Specifically, this article deals with its morphological description, taxonomic history, habitat, behavior, diet, reproduction, venom, and conservation.
